101.9 RXP - New York Rock Experience ★

A couple weeks ago I saw an ad for a new radio station on the side of a bus. As I’m often stuck listening to either K-Rock or Q104.3 (“modern” rock and “classic” rock, respectively), I thought I’d give the new station a shot.

I was quite impressed. They actually play a pretty wide variety of rock. Over the last couple of days I’ve heard Foxboro Hot Tubs, Mott the Hoople, The Pretenders, Rogue Wave, Death Cab for Cutie, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Clash, and Mike Doughty.

Imagine that, not having to change the station to listen to songs from a different decade. Awesome.
